Hi, I'm Nesil.
7+ years designing digital experiences, products and interfaces. Currently leading Product Design at upGrad, where I work across product, strategy, systems, AI and design culture.

From the first blank Figma frame to a product people actually use. I’ve built products from scratch, shaped design systems, and built teams that make good ideas happen.
My obsession lives in the gap between usable and unforgettable.
I believe great design should solve the problem first, then make people feel something. I bring together product thinking, art direction and a little bit of the unexpected to create experiences that work beautifully and stay with you.
I design for inclusion.
Not because it's on a checklist, but because the most interesting design problems live at the edges, not the centre.
These days I'm also in the code.
Prototyping faster, helping designers push PRs, shipping alongside engineers. Not because it's trendy, but because the seam between design and engineering is where the craft either holds or falls apart.
I'd rather be standing there when it decides.
I don't believe in polite decks that protect average ideas.
I don't believe in vanilla.
I believe in things with a spine: products that are unmistakably themselves, built by people who give a damn about the details no one asked them to care about.
That's what I make.

Every shipment, live, in one place
Drivers, routes and delays were scattered across tools. One TMS now shows live tracking, ETA insight and automations that act on delays.
A website that lets the buildings speak
A quiet, image led site for an architecture studio, with scroll led motion, a project index and a journal.
A system named after its own history
Seven year old foundations rebuilt around what things do, and the new homepage shipped on top, in one month.
Honest food for 300+ families
A Kerala food store that names the maker on every product, grown from a society stall to 49 communities.
Weekly delivery, off pen and paper
The internal tool I designed and built with Claude Code to replace hand grouped orders, handwritten slips and paper routes.
Three different doors into upGrad
One catalogue walked into three ways: a fourteen year story, a night sky world and a gallery you drag. All live, in code.
I care about the details that make a product feel like itself.
The flows, the edge cases, the tiny interactions, the pixels, the moments nobody thought to design. I like getting into the weeds, because that’s often where the experience comes alive.
